18 month check-up

Rachel had her 18 month check-up yesterday afternoon. HORRAY FOR NO SHOTS! The appointment was a breeze! (Well, if a breeze is indicative of a little girl screaming from the time we entered the room until the time we left.) But I am positive the no shots did make it a little better for all parties involved.

Poor Rachel, she was so scared of sweet Dr. Toohill. She screamed & cried & grabbed for me when I undressed her & laid her down to be weighed & measured. And I don't know how Dr. Toohill was able to listen to her heart when she was screaming like she was. This is a direct quote from Dr. Toohill "her lungs are good" - that's no joke.

Stats:
weight - 23 lbs 1 oz (23%)
height - 30 1/4 in (25%)

Rachel has eczema on her legs, shoulders, & back. For now, we are going to treat with Hydrocortisone cream. Hopefully this clears it up & we won't have to get an Rx for cream. All & all it was a good appointment. We don't go back until she is 2 in October & at that time she will get 1 shot. Then we are done until the Kindergarten shots. WHEW!
