Cousins, Identical Cousins - Jennifer & Hilary wore the exact same outfit. Good thing they both took it well. Ha! Best part of the night, when Hilary put on Jen's glasses & tried to get close to Jen's husband Travis. Oh the roar of laughter!

Sunday - Rachel running fever 102.8 (poor baby)

Monday - Rachel still running high fever. Called the Dr - probaby viral, watch for other symptoms.


Tuesday morning, after ibuprofen kicked in & fever came down. Now she says her face hurts.


Tuesday afternoon, after ibuprofen wore off & fever is back up. We went to Dr. Rachel has double ear infection & a bit of a sinus infection (thus her face hurting).


Wednesday night, I swear antibiotics make my kids hyper. She's wearing the potty as a hat.


So glad she is feeling a little bit better everyday. She has developed this lovely cough, so she probably does have something viral going on in addition to her other ailments. Jarrett is also sick, I suspect he has the flu - fever, chills, body aches, & a nasty cough. He has taken 2 sick days - UNHEARD OF!

Let's hope they both are feeling much much better & aren't miserable all weekend.

Does it get easier?

Olivia, I love her with my whole heart. I tell her that I am the one that loves her most in this world. And I know I am right. I have to be. I have known her the longest. I carried her, I kept her safe, I grew her. I love her the most.

So, why does she insist on giving me such a hard time? The answer to that is simple: she is 6, she is not a morning person, and frankly, she is a lot like me. She got the attitude from me. She got her stubborn nature from me. She got the eye-rolling from me. But the disrespect...I chalk that up to being 6.

I feel like she saves all of her sass just for me. Don't get me wrong, we have great days. We have fun days. We have some no attitude at all days. But some days she is little Miss Sassy Pants, & I can't handle it.

You know that saying "paying for my raising" - ummm...truer words were never spoken.

Is she acting out because now Rachel has a voice, & is her own little person? She gets angry because she has to go to school when Rachel gets to go do fun things all day long. I feel like she thinks they are competing. That will probably not end for quite some time.

Olivia is funny. Olivia is beautiful. Olivia is awesome. Olivia is sassy. Olivia is sometimes a little mouthy. Olivia is Olivia.

I just wonder what its going to be like 7, 8, 9, 10 years from now. If she gives me this much sass now, will there be any to dish out once she is a teenager? Probably...

Does it get easier? Seriously, someone tell me...

Oh Jersey Shore, how I have missed you. Welcome back, old friends.

I cannot wait to see what is in store. Oh wait, Snooki passes out in a trash can then tweets that she is "not a role model", well no shiz. I am shocked...

I still cannot wait to watch it, but alas, wait is what I have to do. I have a very important bowling match to get to. Thank goodness for DVR.
