scattered thoughts

i bloodied rachel's lip & nose last night. all i wanted was to use the bathroom in my house with privacy (something that hasn't happened in about 6 years). the poor girl was coming into the bathroom as i shut the door & it smacked her in the face. she fell to the floor & when she got up there was blood on her little face. olivia yelled that i did it on purpose - thanks a heap liv. but after a quick examination of her face, a kiss from mama, & a dose of motrin, she was ship-shape. this morning she declared "face feels all better, mommy" - good to hear darling & again i am so sorry for the fat lip i gave you. can you see the fat lip? she got to sit in the front while we waited at caseys FOREVA for our pizza to get done. caseys - why do you quote a time & then when i get there say it will be 20 more minutes??? FML

i'm stressed to the max. haven't had a good night's sleep in nearly 2 weeks. i'm sad, very sad. my new haircut perked me up a bit, and i am happy to report that jarrett said "not bad, a little short, but not bad" - thanks babe. i dyed it back to my natural color. it will be easier to maintain & a lot less expensive. still getting used to seeing myself with brown hair again.

it's like 10,000% humidity outside. DISGUSTING. i'm supposed to have a ball game tonight, & i sincerely hope this dies down a little before game time. which by the way, i have no idea what "game time" is because i threw away my schedule. so i texted my sister & haven't heard back from her. at least i came prepared today. i have my shirt, shorts, both cleats & both socks. which is more than i can say for 2 weeks ago when i arrived with only 1 cleat & sock. so i had to cram my size 8 1/2 feet into size 7 cleats. and i wore my brother's dirty socks from his game the night before which were still damp with sweat. i really do appreciate the fact that you didn't give me athlete's foot, Timmy.

i gave blood yesterday. {pats self on back} i feel good when i do it. it helps people. they give you a sticker with your name on it - however the chick spelled my name wrong. it read "NATLIE" so that is what people called me while i was there "how are you doing, NATLIE?" - "Still doing ok, NATLIE".

i worry about crazy stuff while i am laying in that lounge chair - for example "can these fine folks at the red cross smell my feet?"

the reason i am sad...i have been delaying putting this out there for the interwebs. and i still don't want to. but i will say i, along with my entire family, have been spending a lot of time at my grandma & grandpa's house. we have all had a lot of fun times there over the years. i distinctly remember walking up to my mom looking pretty similar to my first born...mud literally head to toe. aunt sarah hosed her down outside after it started to get all crustified.

we did some redecorating last weekend at my grandma's. now this wagon dude is sitting on the old crapper. much to my surprise, my grandma laughed really hard at it. i thought for sure she would not appreciate it, but she proved me wrong

that is all for now...
