random & awesome

i'm so ready for the lovely mid-week holiday break in my work week. i think a 5 day work week is for the birds. we don't have any plans for the 4th, other than having no plans. which is fantastic. my parents had their annual 4th of july cookout on saturday & it was a blast. you know, other than it being as hot as a blast furnace all day long. not really sure if we will just lay low in the ac all day tomorrow, or if we will venture out at some point. either way, it will be better than working.

ready for some totally random awesomeness? well if you are, you came to the right place.

at our local grocery store, the following display can be found by the freezer section & check-outs
i've been to the store 3 times in the past 4 days. each time i see this, i jump. however, according to facebook, i am not alone. i may have definitely cursed the first time. apparently, batman wants you to buy some kind of crap they are peddling.

my grandma gave us her fridge from her basement. she declared she no longer had a need for it. it's a tight fit. and the heaviest thing I have ever had to move. ever. my dad, uncle, & jarrett agree.

my latest iPhone game obsession is flow. seriously addicting & fun. if you like puzzles, you will like this.

lastly, holy heat wave batman! (see what i did there, 2 batmans in 1 post)

i get it, it's july. it is going to be hot. it happens every single year. hot in the summer, cold in the winter. i understand the climate here in central illinois. however, i don't care for 10 consecutive days of 100+ degrees. and no rain...but that is a different post, friends.

while driving home the other day, rachel says to me "mama, i am sweaty right here". i laughed so hard. then of course, had her repeat herself & the actions - so i could take a picture of her rubbing her armpit where she was sweaty. i also sent it to my dad who replied with "so is grandpa, rachey" hahaha! honestly, who isn't sweaty right there in central illinois? hot hot hot.

have a wonderful & safe 4th of july!
