tuesday night, i went to see magic mike with a great group of girls.
we were loud. probably the loudest in the whole theater.
and with good reason, friends.
i will say this much, i don't know if i am naive or what, but it was a little more raunchy than i was expecting. with that being said, it was so much fun.
there is a story line outside of the strip club. and it was actually really funny. (see the last picture if you don't believe me.)

channing tatum. i have to admit i had a bad taste in my mouth after seeing the horrible non-love story the vow earlier this year. but channing completely redeemed himself. just look at him. he's so pretty. for the most part, he was hilarious in this movie. i'm a little tired of him playing the wounded guy - which he is in this movie too, but only towards the end. the rest of it he's super funny. also super fun to look at.
and matthew mcconaughey finally owned up to 100% without a doubt being the creepy old guy. i didn't hear hardly any of the dialog in this scene because i was laughing so hard at the awesome workout outfit he has on. added bonus, he says "alright alright alright" in this movie too. which i think just may be one of his requirements of every single role he has ever played. ok so maybe it was just this & dazed & confused. but still. so funny.
bottom line - if you have like 2 hours to kill & $10 to spare, it will be worth it. if not, wait until video. but some of this, i'm glad i saw on the big screen! haha
