as per usual, we spent the majority of the weekend at my grandma's house. olivia camped friday night. rachel & i stayed at home. jar was visiting his bro in chi-town.
then saturday, rachel decided she didn't feel well - after a trip to the dr we found she had a double ear infection. poor gal just cannot catch a break. luckily, she is feeling much better.
we ended up having a wonderful day sunday where many minute to win it games were played. i found my true talent. bouncing ping pong balls into cups of water.
monday, we spent the day at home. it was glorious. i got up pretty early, 5:00. there is no way i fall back to sleep once i am up, so i got an early start on my day. i visited my grandfather's at the cemetery & placed pretty orange flowers. then i hit up menards. i literally got there right when they opened 7:00. crazy. it was so wonderful to walk around taking my time. i don't get to just push a cart very often & not have to tell someone to stay with me or sit down. peaceful.
by the time i got back home at 8:45 olivia was the only one up. she said she had just woke up too. everyone needed the extra sleep, myself included i just didn't get any. we had a late breakfast & then took a nice long walk in the evening. it was gorgeous but very hot yesterday. it was exactly what i needed.
